The JSerra Boys Swimming Team produced some quality qualifying efforts on Wednesday at the Trinity League Preliminaries at Santa Margarita Catholic High School.
Junior Taylor Bell put forth a strong effort in the 200IM, touching the wall in 1:54.68.
That time moved him into second place all-time in school history and helped him earn CIF qualification.
In the same race, senior Tas Palcza (the current school record holder) earned a CIF consideration time of 1:57.17.
Sophomore Connor Colman swam to a CIF consideration time of 1:43.76 in the 200 Free.
Sophomore Nolan Baker (21.28) was second in the 50 free, while junior Noah Ryznar earned a CIF consideration time by clocking a 21.67 to finish third.
"It was another solid preliminary performance for our program," Lions head coach Kevin Clements said. "The boys raced hard today, but I know we have a lot more in us for the finals."
